Job summary

Midway Care Group is seeking a Deputy Locality Manager to oversee its supported living services in the Derbyshire area. This 3-month fixed-term maternity cover role focuses on quality, compliance, and staff supervision to deliver personalised care.

You will apply Mental Capacity Act knowledge, lead a team, and coordinate with healthcare professionals to meet individual needs. A proactive, flexible candidate is required to support service delivery across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Experience working in senior or deputy roles with adults with learning disabilities.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, CQC guidelines and Mental Capacity Act is essential.
• Willingness to work towards management qualifications where needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the operations of supported living services.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
• Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Supervise, mentor, and train a team of caregivers.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals to meet medical and care requirements.
• Monitor and adjust care plans for effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Respond to concerns following policies and safeguarding procedures.
