Job summary

Midway Care Group is recruiting a Locality Manager to oversee supported living services in Wolverhampton. You will provide strategic leadership, ensure CQC compliance, and develop person-centred care plans across multiple sites, supervising a dedicated team and safeguarding residents.

You will drive continuous service improvement, manage around 2,500 care hours, and lead the Registered Manager responsibilities, while coordinating with families and stakeholders to enable independence and choice.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
• Proven experience managing supported living services or similar settings
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management for our supported living service.
• Ensure services meet and exceed CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain person-centred care plans that promote independence and choice.
• Recruit, train and develop a passionate team to deliver exceptional care.
• Build positive relationships with service users, families and key stakeholders.
• Take on the responsibility of Registered Manager for the service.
• Expected to manage 2,500 care hours over multiple sites.
• Ensure safeguarding protocols and legislative compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement and address service shortfalls proactively.
• Respond to referrals, conduct thorough assessments and maintain occupancy targets.
• Monitor staff performance, provide supervision and develop the team.
• Foster a culture of excellence and innovation within the service.
