Job summary

Badgemore Park Golf Club in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, seeks a Deputy Course Manager to support the Course Manager in daily maintenance, development and presentation of the course.

You will manage agronomic plans, supervise the greenkeeping team, oversee safety, sustainability and course quality, and contribute to a long-term improvement strategy with a progressive, ambitious club.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in high-level turf management and course maintenance.
• Experience implementing agronomic plans and supervising teams.
• Commitment to safety, sustainability and course excellence.

Responsibilities

• Support the Course Manager in course maintenance, development and presentation.
• Assist with planning and execution of a 5-year course improvement strategy.
• Supervise and motivate the greenkeeping team daily.
• Carry out turf care, machinery operation and irrigation management.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Lead specific projects and deputise for the Course Manager when needed.
