Job description

Every mission begins with the expertise and dedication of the people behind it. We are partnering with a leading defence and aerospace organisation to recruit a Deputy Chief Engineer – Technology. In this senior engineering role, you will support the Chief Engineer in guiding a technical team, ensuring mission system projects are delivered to specification and on schedule. You will review and approve technical solutions, manage team resources, and mentor engineers to achieve project and team goals. You will also help maintain quality processes, author and manage technical documentation, and support internal and external audits. You will work across complex systems including RF, radar, electronic warfare, and avionics, contributing technical expertise and strategic guidance within an integrated product team. Your input will influence technology programmes, resource allocation, and performance outcomes, ensuring delivery meets the highest standards.
