Job summary

Rowlands Pharmacy in Wakefield is seeking an experienced Transport Team Lead or Supervisor to drive KPI performance, oversee daily depot operations, and ensure customer orders are fulfilled safely and on time.

You will lead, train, and develop transport staff, coordinate routes and vehicle checks, maintain GDP and OHS compliance, and liaison with Sales Representatives to manage cut-off times and service levels.

Qualifications

• Proven multi-drop driving experience.
• Understanding of laws and regulations related to Health & Safety.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive depot KPIs in quality and productivity while maintaining discipline, cleanliness, and staffing for efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with GDP, OHS, and QMS.
• Liaise with Sales Representatives regarding cut off times, van routes, delivery times and service levels.
• Maintain asset-tracking devices and monitor driver vehicle checks.
• Support induction and ongoing training of transport staff to keep them multi-skilled and capable of operational demands.
