Bestway Group is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day depot operations, ensuring safety, efficiency and a high standard of customer service. You will support the General Manager in achieving KPI targets and drive performance across the depot.

You will lead teams on the shop floor, manage stock and deliveries, and build strong relationships with Head Office and customers. The role requires hands-on leadership, planning, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a retail or wholesale environment.
• Strong product knowledge and commercial awareness.
• Confident decision-maker with planning and prioritisation skills.
• Strategic problem-solving and change management abilities.
• Proven track record in delivering excellent customer service.

Aufgaben

• Drive depot performance and achieve KPIs.
• Lead a performance-driven culture and motivate teams.
• Ensure stock management, availability, and depot presentation.
• Drive on-time and in-full deliveries to build customer confidence.
• Reduce order returns by improving delivery accuracy through leadership.
• Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and a consistently positive shopping experience.
• Oversee promotional execution and ensure compliance with standards.
• Build relationships with Head Office, internal teams, customers and stakeholders.
• Ensure policies and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to.
• Deputise for the General Manager when needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Drive productivity by being visible on the shop floor and coaching Team Leaders.
• Plan and manage resources including staffing and temporary labour.
• Manage performance, discipline, and grievances professionally.
• Analyse operational data to identify trends and implement solutions.
• Promote the Customer Satisfaction agenda across the depot.
