We are looking for an Operations Manager to join the Belfast Evri family, sharing our passion and drive to delight our customers.

You will be a key member of the Depot Management team. The Operations Manager is responsible for the performance of the operation, proactively seeking ways to improve cost, service, and operational efficiency.

As the Depot Operations Manager, you will motivate staff, solve problems daily, and manage operations. Each depot has unique challenges, but you will have support from an experienced central team, senior managers, and peer mentorship to help you grow your experience.

We seek someone flexible, capable of making operational and strategic decisions quickly, with self-belief to commit to a plan of action. This role is 5/7, with shifts potentially switching between day and night depending on the season and workload.

• Experience managing depot operations and admin teams in a dynamic, process-driven, results-oriented environment.
• Strong leadership skills to support, motivate, and engage team members for high performance.
• Ability to report, investigate, and reduce health & safety issues.
• Knowledge of transport requirements in line with 'O' Licence regulations.
• Experience managing working hours in line with WTD and AWR regulations.
• Ability to complete financial, service, and enquiry reports within deadlines.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Leadership and people management experience, emphasizing support, motivation, and development.
• Proficiency with management information systems and Excel spreadsheets.
• Ability to identify efficiency opportunities and demonstrate performance improvements.
• Experience in 3rd party logistics, transport, and team leadership.
• Full driving license.
• CPC National certificate or equivalent, or willingness to obtain through Evri.
