Job summary

InPost is seeking a Depot Manager for our Cullompton hub to lead a fast-paced, 24-hour parcel operation. You will drive performance, recruit and develop a high-energy team, and ensure top-tier customer service while tightly managing costs and regulatory compliance.

You will use data to identify improvement opportunities, build strong stakeholder relationships, and motivate staff to meet ambitious business objectives in a growing UK network.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a large-scale logistics, distribution or operational environment.
• Strong commercial and financial awareness with budget and cost-control experience.
• Track record using KPIs and performance data to drive efficiency.
• Experience leading sizeable teams, with recruitment and development know-how.
• Strong customer focus with internal/external stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Experience ensuring health & safety and security compliance.

• Lead a fast-paced 24-hour parcel operation and ensure high service standards.
• Manage depot performance: service, cost, quality and efficiency.
• Develop and engage the team; recruit, support and develop staff.
• Oversee budgets, costs and resource utilisation; monitor against plan.
• Maintain customer relationships and ensure delivery of agreed service levels.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, security and regulatory requirements.
• Drive change, share best practices and support wider business initiatives.
