Job summary

Speedy Hire in Wellington is seeking a skilled Powered Access Engineer to join our depot team. This hands-on role focuses on keeping access equipment safe, reliable and compliant for customers.

You will service, repair and maintain powered access gear, diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults, carry out planned maintenance, and work with leading brands such as Genie, JLG, Skyjack and Niftylift. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Powered Access, Plant or a similar engineering environment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good understanding of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• CAP registration would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing powered access equipment at our Wellington depot.
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Carrying out inspections, repairs and planned maintenance.
• Working with leading brands including Genie, JLG, Skyjack and Niftylift.
• Keeping equipment safe, reliable and ready for our customers.
