NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

There are various posts available of fulltime (37 hours per week), and part-time (22.4 hours per week), with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday.

Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.

Bases

Parkhead H C 22.4 hours 3 days

Stobhill Hospital 37 hours 5 days

Royal Alexandra Hospital 37 hours 5 days

The posts will support the delivery of care based in the Emergency Dental Treatment Centre Glasgow Dental Hospital, Stobhill Hospital and Royal Alexandria Hospital with the requirement of additional cross cover from base to other locations throughout the Public Dental Service within NHSGG&C.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit to full time and part time Dental Receptionists to support all patient care for registered and unregistered patients within the Public Dental Service in NHS GG&C.

The successful candidates will be the first point of contact for patients and other health professionals and will be involved in the provision of administration tasks to support all dental clinics and the wider team including but not limited to the following services, paediatrics, adult special care, domiciliary care, unregistered and emergency care, undergraduate outreach clinic, general anaesthetic theatre.

Applicants should possess excellent organisational and communication skills, have proficient use of computer systems and be able to prioritise their own workload. A working knowledge of electronic patient systems R4 Clinical Plus and Trakcare is desirable.
