Orchard Care Homes is seeking a Specialist Support Worker (Dementia) in Sunderland. You will support residents with dementia, providing compassionate personal care and helping maintain independence and quality of life within a caring environment.

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is required, with at least 6 months of dementia care experience. The role offers a flexi mix of day and night shifts, with comprehensive training and a supportive team.

Support Worker (Dementia)

An NVQ level 2 (or above) certificate in Health and Social Care is essential for this role along with 6 months minimum experience within a Dementia setting.

Dementia Support Worker – 22- 44 hrs available per week - Flexi mixture of Days and Nights

Rates of Pay:

• NVQ level 2in Health and Social care: £13.77per hour
• NVQ level 3 in Health and Social care:£14.60per hour

As a Specialist Support Worker,youwill help us to ensure that people are treated with respect and dignity. Your approach will be empathetic, compassionate, and focused on ensuring that the lives of residents are fulfilled and meaningful.
