Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Demand Planner to join our supply chain team. You will manage the end-to-end demand planning cycle, develop reliable forecasts in an SAP/APO environment and align demand with regional sales strategies. You will be instrumental in driving monthly demand reviews, mitigating forecast variances, and ensuring inventory availability for key programmes.

Responsibilities
  1. Owning and maintaining demand forecasts across multiple planning horizons and product hierarchies, ensuring alignment with commercial and regional sales plans.
  2. Leading monthly demand review meetings with sales and account stakeholders to align on forecast inputs and assumptions.
  3. Analysing historical data to identify trends, seasonality, and demand patterns that inform forecast development.
  4. Supporting the monthly S&OP process by preparing forecast reports, variance analyses, and presentation decks for leadership reviews.
  5. Communicating forecast risks and opportunities to key stakeholders, enabling informed business decisions.
  6. Utilising key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure, monitor, and improve forecast performance and planning effectiveness.
  7. Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of forecasting models and planning tools.
  8. Assisting in broader supply chain initiatives, reporting, and process optimisation efforts.
Qualifications
  1. At least 2-3 years' previous experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, or a related analytical role.
  2. Educational background in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related discipline (completed or nearing completion).
  3. Strong understanding of trend identification, forecasting principles, and performance measurement through KPIs.
  4. An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities to address forecast deviations and supply challenges.
  5. Proficiency in data management, inventory planning, and demand system administration; SAP MRP/APO experience is highly desirable.
  6. Ability to communicate effectively in English as the main business language, additional European skills are highly desirable.
