Zero Gravity seeks a senior marketer to build and own its demand engine for Zero Gravity Tutor, taking the product to schools across the UK. You will run multi-channel campaigns, ABM, events, and nurture workflows to drive sign-ups and paid conversions, shaping the growth engine from the ground up.
You will own events end-to-end, develop top-of-funnel presence in education media and communities, and turn wins into a scalable pipeline with case studies and referrals.
Zero Gravity exists because talent is spread evenly, but opportunity isn't. For seven years we've helped students from low-opportunity backgrounds into top universities and careers, and Zero Gravity Tutor takes that into the classroom, for every student in a school.
Zero Gravity Tutor is our AI Learning Platform for schools. It launched in April 2026 and it is already in classrooms across England and in the hands of thousands of students. Teachers are loving it, (AI sceptics included!) and when schools see it, the majority adopt it. We only really have one bottleneck - not enough schools have seen it yet. Your job is to build the engine that fixes that.
There is no playbook to inherit here. You will decide what we test, ship it, measure it and tell us plainly what worked and what to kill. You get real ownership, a test-and-expand budget, a commercial team who mostly come from schools, and leaders who will be in the room with you at every stage. You will not get a channel to optimise or a plan someone else wrote.
This role is probably for you if you have been the first or one of the first marketers somewhere and built the engine yourself. It is probably not for you if your best work has been optimising one channel inside a large team, or if your experience is mostly consumer or paid-only acquisition. We're building a new category; and we need someone who can thrive in the opportunity and ambiguity.
You have built a marketing engine from close to zero before, as the first or one of the first marketers, rather than running one someone else built. You default to solving problems using AI; agentic workflows and analysis. A track record of driving MQLs and pipeline through a mix of events, ABM, digital marketing and multi-channel campaigns Hands-on across email, marketing automation and drip campaigns, and comfortable building nurture sequences that move people from first touch to closed won You own direction, not just execution: you balance the day-to-day campaigns with the strategy that builds the funnel over the year, diagnose where the funnel breaks, and would rather ship, measure and improve than wait for the perfect plan Specific, not generic: you can explain why a campaign works, who it is for and what you would do if it fails, using real examples from your own work Passionate about impact: you care about outcomes, not outputs, and you want the work you do to genuinely change life chances
Nice to have Experience working with schools, multi-academy trusts, or the wider education sector Familiarity with UK education: how schools buy and adopt software, and the rhythm of the school year Experience taking a go-to-market motion from early traction to scale Have worked in a company at the 20-50 person stage, where everyone does more than their job title suggests PR or earned-media experience, or the appetite to build our share of voice through press and thought leadership
