Job summary

Evri in Telford is hiring Fixed Term Delivery Team Trainer roles to help new self-employed couriers get started with local support from Day 1. You’ll welcome couriers at the Delivery Unit, train them on the courier app, and show them how to scan, load and prepare for their first deliveries.

This role focuses on coaching and mentoring, introducing them to local contacts like the EVRi Business Partner and Territory Manager, and supporting Day 1 onboarding with practical answers and patient

Delivery Team Trainer – Telford

Help new Evri couriers get started with local support!

We’re hiring Fixed Term Delivery Team Trainer's at our Telford Delivery Units to help new self-employed couriers feel confident from Day 1.

This role is ideal if you’re local to Telford, confident using smartphone apps and enjoy helping people.

Pay: £30000 plus benefits
Location: Telford
Hours: Full-time hours any 5 days over 7 Monday to Sunday
Start date: Immediate starts through to the end Jan 2027
Contract: Fixed term, full time contracts.

What you’ll do as a Delivery Team Trainer

• Welcome new self-employed couriers when they arrive at the Delivery Unit.
• Help them set up and use the courier delivery app.
• Show them how to scan, load and prepare for their first deliveries.
• Introduce them to key local contacts, including the EVRi Business Partner and Territory Manager.
• Support Day 1 onboarding and answer practical questions.

You don’t need courier experience if you have the right attitude and confidence with people. This could suit you if you have experience in:

• Customer service, retail or hospitality.
• Warehouse, logistics or delivery environments.
• Training, coaching, mentoring or team support.
• Helping people use apps, phones or workplace systems.
• Local part-time work where reliability matters.

You’ll need to be:

• Confident using smartphones and apps.
• Friendly, patient and clear when explaining things.
• Organised and able to support more than one person at a time.
• Reliable and able to attend the Delivery Unit at agreed times.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving operational environment.
• Local to Telford or able to travel there easily.
