Job summary

Evri in Normanton is hiring a Courier Training and Onboarding Specialist to onboard new couriers and allocate work, ensuring parcels are ready for collection and delivered on time.

The role requires a fast-paced, customer-focused mindset, strong problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail, with on‑site support from the Delivery Unit to maintain service standards.

Qualifications

• Current UK driving licence.
• Solid understanding of the self-employed courier model.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused operational environment.
• Strong problem-solving, organisation and attention to detail.
• Confident communication and ability to spot and escalate risks quickly.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new couriers and allocate work effectively.
• Monitor parcel scanning and courier readiness; ensure compliance.
• Address local issues like late couriers or missing parcels before escalating.
• Use the Service Tracker to raise timely, transparent escalations when needed.
• Support couriers with manifests, routing, and operational queries.
• Provide daily operational feedback to the Territory Manager to optimise performance.
