Job summary

Amazon Inc. delivery station roles involve handling packages for distribution, loading and sorting orders, and preparing deliveries for drivers. The work is fast-paced, with shifts across early morning to night; you will use scanners and handheld devices, move pallets, and occasionally navigate stairs while keeping safety in mind.

Roles are based at delivery stations in the United Kingdom. Training is provided on the job, and shifts may vary to meet customer demand.

Qualifications

Be 18 years or older.
Understand and follow instructions in English.
Lift up to 23kg.
Lift up to 38kg using the Tilt-Push-Slide technique.
Lift up to120kg using a sack truck.
View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks.
Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around.
Go up and down stairs (where applicable).
Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles.
You may be required to handle a full range of Amazon products including alcohol, pork, beef and other animal products.

Responsibilities

Receive and prepare packages for delivery.
Use technology like scanners and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and vans.
Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
Receive truck deliveries of customer packages.
