Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate at the delivery station in the United Kingdom. You will load conveyor belts, transport and stage deliveries for drivers, and use scanners and handheld devices to sort and prepare orders for delivery.

Shifts include Early Morning to Night, with varying weekly hours. You’ll work in a temperature-controlled environment and follow safety protocols while handling a range of products. Onboarding includes on-the-job training and ongoing upskilling programs.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older
• Understand and follow instructions in English
• Lift up to 23kg
• Lift up to 38kg using the Tilt-Push-Slide technique
• Lift up to120kgusing a sack truck
• View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
• Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
• Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
• You maybe requiredto handle a full range of Amazon products, including alcohol, pork,beefand other animal products

Responsibilities

• Receive and prepare packages for delivery
• Use technology like scanners and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and vans
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
• Receive truck deliveries of customer packages
