Job summary

Amazon is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our delivery station team in the United Kingdom. You will assist with receiving, sorting, and preparing packages for delivery, using scanners and handheld devices to move items into bags and vans.

You will build and transport pallets, receive truck deliveries, and work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and safety guidelines. Training is provided and shifts include early morning to night options.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older
• Understand and follow instructions in English
• Lift up to 23kg
• Lift up to 38kg using the Tilt-Push-Slide technique
• Lift up to120kg using a sack truck
• View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
• Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
• Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
• You may be required to handle a full range of Amazon products, including alcohol, pork, beef and other animal products

• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
