Job summary

Amazon is hiring at our delivery station for a fast-paced, active role. You will load conveyor belts, transport and stage deliveries to be picked up by drivers, using scanners and handheld devices to sort and prepare orders.

Shift options include early morning, day, evening, and night with variable full-time and part-time hours. Onboarding includes on-the-job training and opportunities for upskilling and tuition support for select employees.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older.
• Understand and follow instructions in English.
• Lift up to 23kg; Lift up to 38kg using the Tilt-Push-Slide technique; Lift up to 120kg using a sack truck.
• View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks.
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around.
• Go up and down stairs (where applicable).
• Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles.
• You may be required to handle a full range of Amazon products, including alcohol, pork, beef and other animal products.

Responsibilities

• Receive and prepare packages for delivery.
• Use technology like scanners and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and vans.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Receive truck deliveries of customer packages.
