Job summary

Amazon is hiring for a delivery station role in the United Kingdom. You’ll load conveyor belts, transport and stage deliveries for drivers, using scanners and handheld devices to sort and prep orders for delivery.

You'll work in a fast-paced environment with early morning to night shifts, temperature-controlled facilities, and varied schedules. Training is provided, with pathways for career growth and ongoing upskilling.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older.
• Understand and follow instructions in English.
• Lift up to 23kg.
• Lift up to 38kg using the Tilt-Push-Slide technique.
• Lift up to 120kg using a sack truck.
• View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks.
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around.
• Go up and down stairs (where applicable).
• Environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles.
• May handle a full range of Amazon products, including alcohol and meat products.

Responsibilities

• Receive and prepare packages for delivery.
• Use technology like scanners and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and vans.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Receive truck deliveries of customer packages.
