Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within logistics, warehousing, or delivery operations.
• Strong understanding of logistics processes including sorting, scanning, and dispatching.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with ability to develop staff.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve efficiency.
• Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Commitment to safety and quality, with knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate a delivery station team, including training, performance management, and scheduling.
• Manage daily inbound/outbound package flow with accurate sorting, scanning and loading.
• Monitor station performance against metrics like on-time delivery and safety compliance.
• Enforce company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions.
• Conduct inventory checks and maintain records of movement and equipment.
• Communicate with internal and external partners to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare and present performance reports to identify improvement opportunities.
