Job summary

SP Energy Networks is seeking a Project Engineer (Delivery) in Cambuslang to lead delivery of investment and customer connections projects on the electricity distribution network. You will coordinate projects, engage stakeholders and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering value and performance against targets.

Qualifications

• HNC or Degree in Electrical Engineering (or suitably equivalent)
• Experience in a project delivery role
• Desirable SAP authorisations with SP Energy Networks
• Excellent computer literacy and competency with SAP processes

Responsibilities

• Deliver district business plan outputs in line with financial, regulatory and business plan objectives whilst optimising return through incentive mechanisms.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to support delivery of project plans and local community effects.
• Deliver robust project plans to meet district and licence plans and minimise outages for customers.
• Manage performance targets such as Customer Minutes Lost, Customer Interruptions and GB customer satisfaction metrics.
• Undertake contract management, operational switching and safety document activities up to 33kV, and project management as required.
• Support continual performance improvement through analysis of outputs and feedback.
• Promote safety behaviours and ensure compliance with safety legislation.
