Job summary

SP Energy Networks is seeking a Project Manager to deliver major capital and customer connection projects within the SP Manweb area. You will ensure safety, on-time delivery and cost control across the project lifecycle.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage contractor performance and maintain robust governance, ensuring outputs meet regulatory standards and capital efficiency targets. Competitive salary and strong career progression offered.

Qualifications

• HNC in a relevant engineering, construction or project management discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing construction or infrastructure projects, preferably electricity transmission or regulated infra.
• Experience guiding projects through construction, commissioning, handover and close-out.
• Knowledge of recognised project management methodologies and project control disciplines.
• Experience in project reporting, cost forecasting, risk and change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams across design, engineering, operations, commercial and finance.
• Manage commercial and contract management of appointed contractors and partners (NEC3/NEC4, FIDIC etc.).
• Maintain governance: programme control, cost forecasting, risk management and reporting.
• Develop and maintain integrated project programmes, budgets, forecasts and resource plans.
• Coordinate reviews, lessons-learned and governance to maximise value while maintaining safety and quality.
