Job summary

SP Energy Networks is seeking a Project Engineer to deliver district outputs and coordinate maintenance across overhead lines, cables and substations. You will respond to faults, diagnose issues, and implement improvement plans to minimise interruptions.

The role requires experience in network operations, appropriate authorisations, and a proactive approach to safety and regulatory compliance. A strong ability to plan, coordinate and communicate with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a network/operational role.
• Relevant operational authorisations.
• Experience in a project delivery role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver district outputs for system performance, maintenance and reliability.
• Plan, coordinate and execute maintenance across lines, cables and substations.
• Respond to faults, diagnose, isolate, restore and repair.
• Record and report activities for compliance and traceability.
• Deliver capital projects with safety, regulatory and cost targets.
• Coordinate with internal teams and contractors for maintenance and emergency works.
