Job summary

ScottishPower is seeking a Senior Project Engineer (Delivery) to lead project management, contract oversight, and operational engineering up to 33kV. You will drive customer-focused progress, maintain strong safety standards, and mentor junior staff while coordinating a small team of engineers and coordinators.

Based at the Cambuslang Office, the role offers a competitive salary from £55,000 to £68,750 per year plus a comprehensive benefits package and solid career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• HNC or Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Substantial experience in a project delivery role
• Proficient with SAP systems and processes
• Strong desire to lead people and project teams

Responsibilities

• Deliver the district ED2 business plan by effectively managing project management, contract management and operational engineering up to 33kV
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure communication and minimal disruption for local communities
• Promote safety culture and ensure safety rules and procedures are followed
• Mentor and coach less experienced team members and trainees
• Manage up to 5 project engineers and project coordinators
• Ensure data capture and project closure in corporate systems including financial assurance
• Lead integration of Operational Excellence principles in undertakings
