Job summary

BOC Limited, a Linde company, is seeking a logistics planner to coordinate bulk driver and vehicle scheduling across continuous operations. You will act as the first contact for customer delivery requests and manage bulk gas stocks across storage vessels to support critical processes.

This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of logistics planning, and the ability to communicate with staff at all levels, including senior management.

Qualifications

  • Expert knowledge of logistics planning and supply chain operations.
  • Understanding of production and transport functions, and commercial procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills with data analysis and spreadsheet management.
  • Familiarity with KPIs used to measure performance and drive improvements.
  • Logistics qualification or at least three years of relevant logistics experience.
  • Commitment to integrity and inclusive teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Plan the work of all bulk drivers and vehicles operating continuously throughout the week.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all customer requests related to bulk product deliveries.
  • Manage bulk gas stocks across thousands of customer storage vessels to support critical processes.
  • Resolve delivery-related issues promptly during your shift and liaise with drivers and customer contacts.
  • Communicate with staff at all levels within customer organizations, including senior management.
  • Plan utilization of vehicle and driver resources to meet or exceed customer service expectations.
  • Minimize logistics costs while maintaining high service standards.
  • Provide a proactive interface with the Market Sector Sales team, reporting customer service issues to account managers and senior leadership.

  • Furthermore, you will plan the utilization of vehicle and driver resources to deliver a service that meets or exceeds customer expectations
  • Additionally, you will operate with a focus on minimizing logistics costs while maintaining high service standards
  • Lastly, you will provide a proactive interface with the Market Sector Sales team, reporting customer service issues immediately to account managers and senior leadership
