Job summary

BOC Limited, a Linde company, is seeking a logistics-focused warehouse professional in the UK. You will coordinate domestic and international logistics activities, ship and collect gas samples and calibration gas cylinders, and liaise with providers for air, sea, and road transport.

You will prepare transport, customs, export and dangerous goods documentation, work with the DGSA, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. Forklift operation and stock-keeping form part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills for regular stakeholder contact.
• Strong organisational ability to work independently or in a team.
• IT literacy and ability to use bespoke software and MS Office.
• Forklift truck license and ability to operate handling equipment.
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience in a similar role.
• Appreciation of manual handling and safety considerations.
• Knowledge of dangerous goods transport (ADR/IATA) is advantageous but training is provided.

• Maintain a safe, organised warehouse and monitor stock levels of packaging materials.

• In this role, you will coordinate all domestic and international logistics activities, including the shipment and collection of gas samples and calibration gas cylinders
• You will liaise with approved logistics providers to arrange the transportation of goods by air, sea, and road
• You will prepare and manage transport, customs, export, and dangerous goods documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations
• As well as this, you will work closely with the Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA) to ensure adherence to current legislation and transport requirements
• You will prepare, package, label, palletise, and dispatch consignments in line with applicable transport and safety standards
• You will manage goods inward and outward processes, including receiving, inspecting, storing, and dispatching products
• In this role, you will operate forklifts and other mechanical handling equipment to load, unload, and move goods safely across sites
• You will help maintain a safe, organised warehouse environment and monitor stock levels of packaging and palletisation materials

• You should possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, required for dealing on a regular one-to-one basis with members of your team and other stakeholders
• You will have sound organisational ability with the capacity to work individually or within the team
• You will be IT literate and have the adaptability to use bespoke software systems, Microsoft Word and Excel and database software.
• Fork lift truck license

• Knowledge of transport ofdangerous goods, in accordance with ADR and IATA regulations would be anadvantage however training will be provided
