Job summary

Version 1 is seeking experienced Delivery Managers to guide agile delivery on government projects. You will lead one or two workstreams, maintain project plans, manage risks, and build strong client relationships to translate needs into feasible delivery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Agile delivery experience across project lifecycles in service or software delivery.
• Strong relationships and stakeholder management with client-facing experience.
• Clear, effective communication both written and verbal; able to negotiate.
• Planning and execution skills to drive roadmaps and meet deadlines.
• Servant leadership to motivate diverse teams and foster collaboration.
• Commercial acumen to manage budgets and identify risks and opportunities of projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery in one or two workstreams, adapting agile practices to client needs.
• Ensure successful project execution with proactive planning and risk mitigation.
• Build strong client relationships and translate needs into delivery plans.
• Improve team culture, performance, and health; optimise ways of working.
• Contribute to the delivery management community of practice and coach others.
