A leading consultancy in the UK is seeking a Delivery Lead to manage complex cloud and digital initiatives. This role involves overseeing agile delivery, stakeholder engagement, and budget management. An experienced delivery leader responsible for managing complex cloud and digital initiatives that support public sector transformation. Skilled in overseeing agile delivery across infrastructure, software, and service platforms with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, budget management, and governance. Brings deep understanding of cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern delivery models to ensure secure, scalable, and citizen-focused solutions. Expert in driving cross-functional collaboration, aligning IT strategies with policy outcomes, and promoting continuous improvement across programmes.

The Operations Delivery Lead will be a well-rounded in service deliver, applications or infrastructure management and should possess the following experience & characteristics :

  • Experience of service delivery in either a legacy or digital environment
  • A detailed working knowledge of the Industrialised Delivery Model
  • Ability to read and understand a Client contract
  • Ability to produce robust mitigations for failed SLA’s where appropriate.
  • Ability to review and update documentation for presentation to a client
  • Experience of communicating and presenting clearly to senior management and Client
  • A working knowledge of ITIL on practical level
  • Ability to work across teams and present a single view of service
  • Awareness and understanding of Digital strategy
  • Business and technical acumen, strong interpersonal skills
  • Good negotiation & communications skills
  • Highly self-motivated, Self-Starter and results-oriented
  • Clear and logical thought processes
  • Able to think outside the box to drive tactical resolution’s
