Job summary

SSE plc is seeking a Delivery Lead to transform our digital strategy into tangible change. You will head delivery across multiple teams, ensuring outcomes align with business value and customer needs while maintaining governance and budget control.

The role supports a flexible-first pattern across Scotland and the UK. You will manage end-to-end delivery, lead stakeholders, and foster collaboration across teams and partners to accelerate our low-carbon digital transformation and future-ready

Qualifications

• Experience leading delivery across multiple teams in complex environments.
• Proficiency with Waterfall (PRINCE2, APM, PMP) and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to provide governance, process, and culture support across portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery across the full product lifecycle and roadmap to ensure timely, within-budget outcomes.
• Share regular progress updates on value delivered against outcomes and roadmaps.
• Build trusted relationships with delivery teams and stakeholders to align interfaces.
• Drive technology solutions that deliver tangible business value and support strategic priorities.
• Manage 3rd party supplier relationships to maintain focus on shared outcomes.
