Job summary

SSE PLC is seeking a Senior Change Lead to drive business readiness and user adoption across Transmission Digital programmes. The role spans IT, OT and Cyber, coordinating change activities with project delivery teams and senior leaders.

You will apply a structured change framework, lead a team of Change Managers/Analysts, and influence schedules and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful transformation outcomes.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience leading business change within large-scale transformation projects/programmes.
• Exceptional customer focus ensuring benefits and user capability are prioritized.
• Experience managing people and/or third-party contractors.
• Change certification desirable; knowledge of change models and practical application.
• Ability to deliver within challenging timescales and balance priorities.

Responsibilities

• Apply the structured digital business change framework to guide organisations through change, including communication, readiness and adoption.
• Lead digital business change team members delivering quality materials and activities for change experiences.
• Provide guidance on business change outputs and outcomes to project teams; report status and dependencies.
• Create an overarching programme-level view of change activities to inform stakeholders and the implementation schedule.
• Partner with Digital Programme teams to optimise resource use and align changes with business priorities.
