Job summary

Maps Logistics Ltd is seeking a Delivery Driver for the Margam area. The role offers a full-time position with a van, fuel and insurance provided, and weekly pay.

The company emphasises safe driving, adherence to routes, and customer satisfaction, with a structured incentive program for top performers. There is a weekly bonus potential based on performance, plus a £10 per day incentive running from Oct 2026 to Dec 2026.

Qualifications

• Held a UK or EU driving licence for at least 1 year.
• Less than 6 points on licence.
• DBS check will be completed.
• Drug & alcohol test will be completed on induction day.
• Previous delivery driver experience.
• Preferred experience with major delivery networks (Amazon/DPD/DHL/etc).

Responsibilities

• Drive responsibly and in accordance with the law and speed limits.
• Check delivery vehicle is roadworthy and report defects.
• Load the vehicle safely and securely.
• Record daily duties, hours, mileage and fuel.
• Maintain safe, fuel-efficient driving and hazard awareness.
• Follow pre-planned routes and Highway Code.
• Park legally and securely during pickups and deliveries.
• Ensure goods are accounted for and scanned as required.

• To drive responsibly and within the law at all times, within speed limits and with due regard for other road users.
• To have the ability to be able to check the delivery vehicle is in a roadworthy condition and have the ability to record/report any defects found
• To be able to Load the vehicle with due regard for safely, security, and parcel care.
• The ability to record your driving daily duties, hours worked, working time, mileage and fuel.
• You should have a good standard of Safe and fuel efficient driving and hazard awareness.
• You should have good working knowledge of the Highway Code. - The ability to follow pre planned routes
• Ensuring vehicle is parked legally and securely whilst carrying out your collection and delivery duties
• Ensure all goods are accounted for and scanned as required
