Job summary

Maps Logistics Ltd, based in Swansea, seeks a Delivery Driver (Margam) to join a full-time role. You will deliver high volumes of parcels, drive safely, plan routes, and record duties daily. Training and weekly pay are provided.

The position requires an UK/EU driving licence with minimal points, and DBS and drug/alcohol checks on induction. Equipment and support are supplied by the company.

Qualifications

• Must have held a UK or EU Driving Licence for at least 1 year.
• Licence points: less than 6 on the license.
• DBS check will be completed.
• Drug & Alcohol test on induction day.
• Previous Delivery driver experience.
• Preferred (Amazon/DPD/DHL/Parcel services).

Responsibilities

• Drive responsibly and within the law at all times, within speed limits.
• Check the delivery vehicle is roadworthy and report defects.
• Load the vehicle safely with parcels.
• Record daily duties, hours, mileage and fuel.
• Maintain safe, fuel-efficient driving and hazard awareness.
• Follow the Highway Code and planned routes.
• Park the vehicle legally and securely during deliveries.
• Ensure goods are accounted for and scanned as required.
