Job summary

MAPS Logistics Ltd is seeking a Delivery Driver to operate in Cardiff, handling parcel deliveries with a provided van, fuel and insurance. The role is full-time with paid weekly wages, training on induction day, and potential loyalty rewards.

You will drive safely, check vehicle roadworthiness, load cargo securely, and log daily duties. A UK/EU driving licence with minimal points is required along with DBS and drug/alcohol checks on induction day.

Qualifications

• Must have held a UK or EU Driving Licence for at least 1 year.
• Good knowledge of the Highway Code and safe driving practices.
• Ability to record daily duties, hours, mileage and fuel.

Responsibilities

• Drive responsibly and within the law at all times.
• Load the vehicle with due regard for safety and parcel care.
• Record driving duties, hours worked, mileage and fuel.
• Ensure goods are scanned and accounted for.
• Follow pre-planned routes and park vehicles legally.

Maps Logistics Ltd is a delivery company based in Swansea, delivering high volumes of parcels on behalf of our clients and dedicated to the satisfaction of our customers.

• To drive responsibly and within the law at all times, within speed limits and with due regard for other road users.
• To have the ability to be able to check the delivery vehicle is in a roadworthy condition and have the ability to record/report any defects found
• To be able to Load the vehicle with due regard for safely, security, and parcel care.
• The ability to record your driving daily duties, hours worked, working time, mileage and fuel.
• You should have a good standard of Safe and fuel efficient driving and hazard awareness.
• You should have good working knowledge of the Highway Code. - The ability to follow pre planned routes
• Ensuring vehicle is parked legally and securely whilst carrying out your collection and delivery duties
• Ensure all goods are accounted for and scanned as required

• Must have held a UK or EU Driving Licence for at least 1 year
• Less than 6 points required on license
• DBS check will be completed
• Drug & Alcohol test will be completed on induction day
• Previous Delivery driver experience
• Preferred (Such as Amazon Delivery, DPD, DHL, Parcelforce, Evri, Tesco etc)
