Job summary

Maps Logistics Ltd is seeking a Delivery Driver for Margam. The role is full-time with full 3-day paid training provided, and company support for van, fuel and insurance. You will drive, load, and deliver parcels, following routes and maintaining safety and accuracy throughout the day.

Drivers can expect 9-hour shifts with weekly pay and a loyalty bonus. Prior delivery experience is preferred but not mandatory, with DBS and drug/alcohol checks on induction.

Qualifications

• UK or EU driving licence held for at least 1 year.
• Less than 6 points on the licence.
• DBS check will be completed.
• Drug & alcohol test will be completed on induction day.
• Previous delivery driver experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Drive responsibly and within the law at all times, within speed limits and with due regard for other road users.
• Check that the delivery vehicle is in a roadworthy condition and record/report any defects found.
• Load the vehicle with due regard for safety, security, and parcel care.
• Record your driving daily duties, hours worked, working time, mileage, and fuel.
• Maintain a good standard of safe and fuel-efficient driving and hazard awareness.
• Have a good working knowledge of the Highway Code and the ability to follow pre-planned routes.
• Ensure the vehicle is parked legally and securely while carrying out collections and deliveries.
• Ensure all goods are accounted for and scanned as required.
