Wolseley UK is hiring a Delivery Driver in Milton Keynes. The role requires a Class 1 HGV licence and strong customer service skills. You will deliver items, maintain customer relationships, and ensure health and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Full, Class 1 HGV licence.
• Up-to-date knowledge of digital tachographs.
• Driver CPC.
• Comfortable with learning digital technology (handheld devices).
• Confident interacting with customers and suppliers to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses and routes.
• Providing excellent customer service at all times.
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers and Wolseley brand ambassadors.
• Carrying out daily vehicle, equipment and load safety checks and reporting defects.
• Working well within the transport team and liaising with driving team and transport administration.
• Unloading and loading at customers' premises where required.

Responsibilities

• Delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Offering excellent Customer Service at all time
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring they are a positive ambassador of the Wolseley brand
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects
• Working well within the transport team, including relating to the driving team and the transport administration
• Unloading and loading on customers' premises, where required

This is a full-time, permanent role working 45 hours per week Monday to Friday
