Sainsbury's is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to bring groceries to customers’ doorsteps with a friendly, efficient service. You’ll drive a refrigerated van, perform vehicle checks and ensure orders arrive in great condition.

You’ll be part of a fast-paced, customer‑facing team, delivering across diverse locations and weather, while occasionally supporting store tasks as needed. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and customer care.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points
• Right to Work in the UK
• Online driving risk assessment as part of the interview, plus a driving assessment on joining

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Sainsbury's at every doorstep you deliver to with a friendly, helpful delivery service
• Drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van to deliver groceries on time and in good condition
• Carry out checks to ensure the van is roadworthy, clean and organised, and that customer shopping is secure before setting off
• Follow planned routes and drive safely in varying locations and conditions
• Move containers up to 15kg and deliver to properties including steps or longer walks from the van
• Communicate with customers and inform them of delays or changes to orders
• When not delivering, assist across the store as needed
