Sainsbury's is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to represent the brand at customers' doorsteps, delivering groceries in a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van and ensuring on-time, in-good-condition orders.

You will perform vehicle checks, follow planned routes, assist in-store when needed, and communicate with customers to handle queries; join a long-standing team dedicated to great service.

Qualifications

• Friendly and welcoming demeanour with a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers.
• Comfortable driving a larger vehicle safely in diverse locations.
• Able to move and handle 15kg containers repeatedly.
• Uses initiative and makes safe decisions while on the road.
• Thrives working independently and as part of the wider team.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Sainsbury's at customers' doorsteps with a friendly, helpful delivery service.
• Deliver groceries in a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van on time and in great condition.
• Perform checks to ensure van roadworthiness, cleanliness and security of orders.
• Follow planned routes and drive safely across varying traffic and weather conditions.
• Assist across the store when not delivering.
• Communicate effectively with customers and handle queries about orders.
