Job summary

Tesco is hiring Customer Delivery Drivers to bring groceries to customers’ homes across the area. You will be part of a busy on‑road team, delivering with a smile and maintaining high standards of customer service.

The role involves loading, driving, and ensuring orders are delivered on time, while staying compliant with road safety and product handling requirements. Flexible working options available and a minimum 16 hours per week is guaranteed.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months.
• Penalty points: no more than 3 on your licence.
• Excellent customer service and a friendly, welcoming approach.

Responsibilities

• Keep van, trays, and work area clean and organised for each delivery.
• Load the van safely and complete checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Deliver within customers' time slots and handle order changes smoothly.
• Provide warm, natural service at the doorstep and build rapport with customers.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain strong team spirit and service quality.
