Job summary

Tesco UK is hiring Customer Delivery Drivers in the United Kingdom. As the face of Tesco on the road, our drivers meet customers in their homes every day and provide service with a smile. This hands-on role is more than driving, involving helping people and delivering great service with warmth.

Shifts are varied and include a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week (12-hour roles also available). A valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months, with ≤3 penalty points, is required.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Delivering within the customer’s time slot, providing warm, natural service at the doorstep.
• Loading the van safely and completing checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Handling products with care and ensuring orders are complete and accurate.
• Talking customers through order changes and substitutions, processing refunds when needed.
• Building strong relationships with colleagues to deliver great service.
• Be warm and welcoming with customers and colleagues.
• Respond quickly to changing customer needs while out on the road and in store.
