Job summary

Tesco UK is hiring Customer Delivery Drivers to bring groceries to customers’ homes across the UK. You will be the face of Tesco on the road, delivering with a smile and providing warm, reliable service aligned to customers’ time slots.

The role requires holding a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence, with a minimum 12 months’ experience and no more than 3 penalty points. A minimum 16 hours per week is guaranteed, with some locations offering 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.
• We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.
• Delivering within the customer’s time slot, providing warm, natural service at the doorstep and leaving customers feeling valued and well looked after.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers’ homes within designated time slots.
• Load the van safely and conduct checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Keep the van, trays and work area clean, tidy and organised for quality delivery.
• Talk customers through order changes or substitutions and handle refunds as needed.
• Handle products with care and maintain customer trust and satisfaction.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues to deliver great service as a team.
