Job summary

Tesco is recruiting Customer Delivery Drivers to bring groceries to customers’ homes. The role blends driving with hands-on service and a friendly, helpful approach to every delivery.

You’ll work flexible shifts with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week (some roles start at 12 hours). A valid UK driving licence with up to 3 penalty points is required. In return Tesco offers benefits including holiday entitlement, a pension and colleague discounts.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months.
• No more than 3 penalty points on your licence.
• Able to deliver a friendly, high‑quality service to customers.
• Comfortable working in a hands‑on driving role with physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Keep van, trays and work area tidy and safe for deliveries.
• Load the van safely and perform checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Communicate order changes or substitutions clearly with customers.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality.
• Deliver within the customer's time slot and provide warm, reliable service.
