Job summary

Tesco PLC is hiring Customer Delivery Drivers to meet customers at their homes across the UK. This hands-on role involves driving, loading the van, and delivering orders with a friendly, reliable service within designated time slots.

You’ll work independently most of the day, supported by managers and colleagues back at base. Benefits include holiday entitlement, staff discounts, wellbeing services, life cover and a pension, plus a uniform provided and flexible working from day one.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work independently with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Keep van, trays, and work area clean and organised.
• Load the van safely and perform vehicle checks.
• Explain order changes or substitutions and process refunds when needed.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and trust.
• Deliver within customer time slots with warm, natural service.
