Job summary

Tesco UK is hiring Customer Delivery Drivers to meet customers at their homes across the region. This role blends driving with great service, welcoming customers with a smile and handling orders with care. You’ll work independently most days, with support from a local Tesco team when needed.

Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in stores within the M25, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week; roles from 12 hours are also available.

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK/EU/EEA driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• No more than 3 penalty points on your licence.
• Able to deliver orders with a friendly, reassuring manner.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders within the customer’s time slot and in a polite, helpful way.
• Load the van safely and keep it tidy and roadworthy.
• Keep the van, trays and work area clean and organised for each delivery.
• Provide warm, natural service at the doorstep and handle substitutions or refunds when needed.
