Job summary

Tesco is hiring Customer Delivery Drivers in the UK to meet customers in their homes, delivering groceries with a smile. The role is hands-on, varied and you’ll work independently most of the day, with a supportive team back at base when needed.

Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in M25 stores. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, with some locations offering 12-hour options. A full UK driving licence (12 months, max 3 points) is required.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service mindset and part-time availability.
• Safe driving and awareness of road safety for delivery routes.
• Good communication to explain changes or substitutions to customers.

Responsibilities

• Loading the van safely and ensuring it is roadworthy.
• Delivering orders within the customer’s time window and to the correct address.
• Talking customers through changes or refunds to keep the experience smooth.
• Keeping the van, trays and work area clean, tidy and organized.
• Building rapport with customers and colleagues for great service.
