Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a flexible delivery driver in Invergordon to join our temporary team. You will deliver letters and parcels with a Royal Mail van and on foot, helping communities stay connected.

Applicants should have a full, manual UK driving licence (max 6 points) and be physically fit to walk long distances and lift up to 16 kg. Shifts vary, with competitive pay rates and potential for permanency.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; must be able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels around your delivery area, driving a Royal Mail van and walking parts of the route.
• Handle and deliver election materials and other items in line with Royal Mail standards.
• Provide friendly customer service and ensure items reach their destination safely.
