Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Post Person with Driving to deliver letters and parcels across your local community. You will drive a Royal Mail van and also walk parts of your route, providing reliable service in all weather.

This role requires a clean UK driving licence (6 points max), good physical fitness to handle up to 20,000 steps daily, and flexibility to work shifts as needed. You will pass a driving assessment before starting.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Willing to walk long distances and carry mailbags up to 16 kg.
• Able to work flexible shifts and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as part of your round.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and complete parts of the route on foot.
• Handle and deliver election materials and certain items per standards.
