Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking flexible Post Person with Driving to join our delivery team in the community. You will deliver letters and parcels, drive a Royal Mail van on your round, and walk parts of the route to ensure timely, accurate service.

The role suits someone who enjoys being outdoors, stays active all day, and can adapt to changing shift patterns. A full UK driving licence and physical fitness to carry bags up to 16 kg are required.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your round, in all weather.
• Travel by van and complete parts of your route on foot while providing exceptional service.
• Handle and deliver items such as election materials and alcohol following Royal Mail standards.
