Job summary

Wolseley Pipe Centre in Oxford Botley (OX2 0LS) is hiring a Delivery Driver 7.5t to join a leading UK/Ireland trade merchant. You will deliver boilers and radiators to customer sites, drive a 7.5t truck, perform daily vehicle checks and handle 8–10 drops per day in Oxford and surrounding areas.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:30, with no weekend work. A Class 1 licence, CPC and tachograph, plus warehouse/multi-drop experience, are preferred.

Qualifications

• A class 1 driving licence.
• CPC and digital tachograph.
• Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial though not essential.
• Previous multi drop driving experience with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver items such as boilers and radiators to customers' sites and building sites.
• Drive 7.5t vehicle.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks.
• Complete 8–10 drops per day within Oxford and surrounding areas.
• Manual handling and heavy lifting of items loading and unloading them from vehicles.
• Assist in warehouse when back from deliveries.

As a Delivery Driver 7.5t based in Oxford Botley (OX2 0LS), you'll be responsible for:

• Delivering various items such as boilers and radiators to our customers' sites and building sites.
• Driving 7.5t vehicle.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• You will complete anything from 8-10 drops a day within Oxford and surrounding areas.
• Manual handling and heavy lifting of items loading and unloading them from vehicles.
• Assisting in the warehouse if back from deliveries early with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 07:30AM - 16:30PM. No weekend work required.
