Job summary

Pipe and Climate Centre, part of the Wolseley Group, is seeking a Delivery Driver 12t in Cardiff. You will deliver boilers and radiators to customer and building sites, operate a 12t vehicle, and perform daily vehicle checks.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:00 with no weekend work. A Class 1 licence, CPC and tachograph are required; warehouse experience is a plus. Excellent benefits provided by a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must have Class 1 driving licence and CPC; tachograph awareness is essential.
• Experience with warehouse duties is beneficial but not required.
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver boilers and radiators to customer sites and building sites.
• Drive a 12t vehicle.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks.
• Complete 6–10 drops daily across South Wales and surrounding areas.
• Manual handling and loading/unloading of items.
• Assist in the warehouse with unloading stock, picking/packing orders and stock checks.

As a Deliver Driver 12t based in Cardiff you’ll be responsible for:

• Delivering various items such as boilers and radiators to our customers sites and building sites.
• Driving 12t vehicle.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• You will complete anything from 6 -10 drops a day in the within South Wales and surranding areas.
• Manual handling and heavy lifting of items loading and unloading them from vehicles.
• Assisting in the warehouse if back from deliveries early with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 07:00AM - 16:00PM. No weekend work required.

And here’s what we’d like you to have:

• A class 1 driving license.
• CPC and digital tachograph.
• Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial though not essential.
• Previous multi drop driving experience with a can do attitude.
